PANDORA

If you dont know what Pandora is I am not sure where you have been.
One of the greatest websites on the Internet, and I absolutely love it. If you work in an office or on a computer most of the day you have to check it out. I don't go a day without connecting to Pandora on the computer or on my I-touch. Its awesome.
"With Pandora you can explore this vast trove of music to your heart's content. Just drop the name of one of your favorite songs or artists into Pandora and let the Genome Project go. It will quickly scan its entire world of analyzed music, almost a century of popular recordings - new and old, well known and completely obscure - to find songs with interesting musical similarities to your choice. Then sit back and enjoy as it creates a listening experience full of current and soon-to-be favorite songs for you." ( from pandora.com)
The name Pandora means "all gifted" in Greek. In ancient Greek mythology, Pandora received many gifts from the gods, including the gift of music, from Apollo. She was also, as we all know, very curious. Unlike those gods of old, however, we celebrate that virtue and have made it our mission to reward the musically curious among us with a never-ending experience of music discovery.
While listening to Pandora over the past couple of years I have discovered so many incredible bands that I probably would have never even heard of listening to the normal radio. Music a big part of my life and I enjoy the stories and messages that are relayed through the lyrics. Recently Pandora has brought to light two artists that I absolutely crazy about. If you haven't heard of these guys you for sure need to check them out and purchase their CDs.
